While in Congo, I have eaten cooked caterpillars and squash seeds. They both had their unique taste.
The squash seeds were really different. I would have never guessed what they were. I think they were mixed with a little minced meat. So, it looked like and had the consistency of mash but not the taste.
Now Byron Wade says cooked caterpillar with squash seeds is his favorite foods. Byron completed 2 1/2 week trip visiting churches and mission projects of the Presbyterian Church.

Afterward we were hosted to a great lunch full of my favorite foods including cooked caterpillar with squash seeds. Unfortunately I missed out only because I was too late in getting some ;-)
