I went to dinner at the house of the hospital's accountant, Golde. I had been to the house a few years ago when it was occupied by the previous accountant.
Since the house sits in the middle of the mission station, I have walked by it hundreds of time. However, I never noticed that an underground cistern near the corner of the house.
I probably would not have noticed it today if it was not partially opened. The concrete cover was pushed aside exposing an empty cistern.
It has not rained in quite a few days. It appeared the last water may have been dipped out in the last day or so. There was no water!
