This morning we decided to attend church at the hospital's chapel. It was refreshing since the chapel is like a large partially enclosed picnic shelter.
Also, the service is a lot shorter than a normal Congolese church service. Basically, you do not have four choirs that sing three songs each.
After church, we had time to visit two of the wards to take some pictures. First, we went through the maternity ward. There were six to eight mothers with their newborns. In the maternity ward, it is great to see that each bed has a mosquito net.
Then we went to visit one of Justin's student. She was bitten by a snake about three days ago. The swelling on her ankle and leg is down but it is still stiff and painful.
I was still home an hour before the regular church ended.
