Road Trip! Dr Antwon came back this afternoon from his trip to Mweka.
He had a sense of urgency to visit some of the outlying health clinics in Bulape Health Zone. He wants to leave tonight. There was a reported case of polio in the town of Tshipaka about 200 miles south of us. Therefore, they are starting a vaccination program on June 4.
The village of Bulape is rural but some of the clinics are really in the outback. We are going by three motorbikes, three chauffeurs, the doctor, Justin and me. We will be riding tandem. A road trip at night on motorbikes. This should be interesting!
After I was packed and kinda ready to go, the doctor decided to leave at 6 am tomorrow.
